Ardie Godbee began her career of service immediately after graduating from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation. While serving in the U.S. Army in the Medical Service Corps as a Hospital Administrator, she obtained her Masters Degree in Health Services Management from Webster University. After serving in the military for 20 years, she continued her mission to serve through volunteering with Provident Village at Creekside in Smyrna, GA and Inspired Living in Alpharetta, GA. In her spare time she remains active through her memberships with Atlanta Track Club and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). For a period of time following her military career, she shared her love of youth and the military by teaching Junior Officer Reserve Training Corps (JROTC) at the Early College High School at Carver High School in Atlanta. She looks forward to serving as a board member of EM-PWR Inc.
